I have the Bome Box. Not sure if I am doing something wrong. I have it setup. I turn on WIFI, I connect my laptop to it via WIFI. That wifi connection works good. But then the Bome Box does not show up in MIDI DEVICES connected to my laptop. Am I missing something? Can I use it this way? I want to send midi messages from my laptop via wifi to the Bome Box and control a device connected to the Bome Box midi out connector. Thanks for your help.
I believe you need to either make a hardware connection (via a MIDI Interface such as a Roland UM-One) or use BomeNet.
