E4 note not working on any MIDI controller with MT Pro Trial

Using trial version of MT Pro and every note works on both my MIDI keyboards except for E4.
Here’s the entry in the Log Window: 27: IN 0.0 Note On on ch. 1 with note:64 (0x40) and any velocity=83

How can I get this one note to work like all the others?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Maybe you should look for any velocity instead of velocity 83. Every time you hit the key, it may be a different velocity and it might be hard to always hit 83. Some keyboards send fixed velocity so my guess is they would be 127.
If that doesn’t work, try posting your project file and I can look into it further.

This keyboard doesn’t have fixed velocity and still every note is working except for E4. Attaching the project file. Thank you for your help.

Outgoing: (none)

Well it would probably be easier to upload the project file.

Save it with a name filename.bmtp
Click on the Upload ICON in this forum and select the file
The ICON looks like this image

From what you posted is it shows the outgoing action is “None” so you are likely getting the note but not doing anything with it.

I seem to have figured it out. Somehow I created an Incoming action in the Translator that said to do nothing when playing E4. Not sure how I had created that!

Glad you got it worked out. I recommend maybe you spend some time with some of the tutorials. Most of them are under 5 minutes.
