For a long time the BomeBox FAQ used to say that Gamepad and Mouse support was planned for version 1.4.
Now it says this:
Can you translate game pads / joysticks to MIDI using the BomeBox?
This is planned for a future firmware update along with Mouse to MIDI translation.
It is currently at version 1.5.
Is gamepad and mouse support still on the roadmap for the near future?
I was really waiting for that feature.
edit:
@SteveC
I read in other topics about MIDIbuddy, that could work for me as a temporary solution.

Possibly if you are on Windows but not for Mac.
To do it MIDIBuddy sends MIDI information in the form of SysEX to MT Pro and you use MT Pro to translate the MIDI to the output format you need.

Well spotted… indeed, we had to postpone Gamepad and mouse input support to a future version. Sometimes we have to be flexible and re-prioritize… Anyway, I’ve bumped up priority of this feature now (again). Sorry I don’t have nothing more concrete.

I’m on windows, SysEx is fine, I can deal with that.
Can I download it somewhere or do you have link?
Thanx, I will be patient.
The extra variables were already a great addition, same for automating routings.
