Launch a timer preset with program

Hello there, i set up a basic timer to use ctrl+s but i dont need it to be active all the time is there a way to launch the preset with the specific software somehow or create a key shortcut for go/stop?Thanks

Hi, I’m afraid I lost you. Could you share your project file? Maybe that would clarify more. Are you launching a continuous timer with Control S? What does the timer do? Do you want it to stop with another Control S?
You can certainly set up keystrokes to either start and kill timers, enable and disable presets and such but I’m not quite sure of your use case.

Hi Steve, sorry ill try explaining. i set up a timer from someones upload which actually had a start timer and timer, using this to send a key command ctrl+s every 5 mins i couldnt set up a key to activate the preset but i will look into it a bit more.i was more curious could i create a script to launch the preset as i start the desired software? that could be cool.I can easily deactivate the preset mostly just interested in optimizing. Thanks

OK, well you could create batch script that launches MT Pro along with the program. MT Pro is not itself program aware. If you are on Windows you could probably use AutoHotKey and on Mac, AppleScript. On, Windows, AutoHotKey has timers and can handle keystrokes so that would be all you need.
