# Trying to attach midi knob from akai mpd32 to mouse wheel Apple M1?

Hey there I cant seem to get the mouse wheel attached to my midi controller (Akai Mpd32). I followed the tutorial for this step by step with no luck. I am using the trial version. If i can get this to work I will buy full version. Any ideas? I am using an apple M1 chip mini

Hi, and welcome to the Bome Community!

There is an example file with 3 types of relative encoders. You can try this and see if any of the options work with the way you have programmed your MPD32

I’m not sure what type of encoders it has so maybe you can turn one an capture it in the log window.
