# Using same controller twicer with BMT?

Hi All,

I want to connect two X-Touch Mini to BMT. The midi port name is burned into the firmware and cannot be changed. Will the two ports conflict in BMT or can I use an alias to talk to each controller individually?

Wanted to ask before I buy them.

You can use two of the same controller. They will each be given a unique name by BomeBox.

If you want the same controller to always be the primary controller, then just always plug them in the same order into your USB hub.
