Akai APC20 Config

Hello Bome Community,

I’m completely new to the midi controller universe and want to expand the dot 2 on pc with my akai APC20. After a long search on the internet, I unfortunately couldn’t find a suitable config file that would make my life easier… Do you perhaps have one for me here? If not, I’ll probably have to look into BOME more intensively :smiley:

I can’t find on on the APC-20 but this post shows an example for the APC-40 so it might be a good place to start.

Hi Steve,
thank you very much for the tip. I have since found out that the apc20 is half of an apc40… in other words, one half even has the same hardware. I’ll try it out later.

Yes, it is very similar. The main differences are:

  1. APC-20 has a note mode. APC-40 does not.
  2. APC-20 has less controls (as you said)
  3. There is a different SysEX configuration stream to change modes of the APC-20.
