Can I connect Allen & Heath mixer WITHOUT having a Bome Box?

If the mixer has a midi USB port, then yes. Also Allen&Heath has an application. I think it is called “Allen&Heath MIDI Control” that allows you to exchange MIDI over your network to a USB port on your computer.
It is usually set up to interface a DAW on your computer with your mixer.
