Behringer Xtouch Compact midi feedback loop

Hello, I have a question in regard to getting midi feedback to the motorized faders on my Behringer Xtouch compact.

  1. Behringer Midi DIN in/out into Bomebox DIN
  2. Midi received by Resolume on a Mac and PC on the network.
  3. I move a fader on the Behringer and it triggers an endless midi feedback loop.
  4. the same happens when moving a fader on Resolume.

How should this be configured to avoid this?

Hi and welcome to the Bome community!

Are you running a MIDI translator Project on your BomeBox?

If not, have you looked at the routing page and turned of the automatic routes. You should probably not have a route from MIDI DIN In to MIDI DIN Out.

Maybe show screenshots of your routing page on BomeBox and if you are running a project, on it, can you share the project?

Hello Steve, thx for the reply.

I was using Translator Pro but in the end that just complicated things.

I stripped everything back to just input and output on the Bome network tool and it seems to have solved the problem?
