hi there, im trying to run the Bome demo in macos but after installing it doesnt open. the icon appears then it dissapears straight away. it was previously working, but then it didnt. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times to no effect.

The first thing I would recommend you check. Apple Menu, then security and preferences, then Accessibility and make sure you have added MIDI Translator Pro.
Then open Bome MIDI Translator Pro. If it does not show up, click on the iCon in the top Menu baar and uncheck “Start minimized” in the Start-Up options.
I would also check “Show menu bar icon” under Appearance.
