Bome trial not starting on Mac Catalina?

Hi there,

First post - I’m trying out Bome to see if it can replace ControllerMate as it’s not compatible to Catalina, which I just had to upgrade to this weekend.

However, when I drag it to my applications and start it, it freezes and hangs.
Any ideas of what I could do to make it work? Any way to see what it freezes on?

iMac Pro 2017, 32gb, Catalina 10.15.7, X-keys Pro, Steinberg CC121, Unitor AMT-8, Nuendo 11

Hi and welcome!

  1. Double click it instead of dragging it but I don’t think that is the problem
  2. Go into Mac Security settings and it may be that Mac is blocking it from opening it as it didn’t come from the Apple Store. Click Open anyway.

It works great with Catalina once installed correctly!
