Button press color change and restore

SETUP:

Using an AKAI APC Mini to send keyboard shortcuts to Premiere, Windows, Photoshop etc. Upon startup I have velocities auto sent to all buttons so they stay a constant color (colors match the program they assign to).

QUESTION:

I’d like the buttons to turn a variable defined color when pushed down and then return to their original variable defines color when Note Off happens for that button.

I have achieved a variable defines color upon Note On but how do I send the “pre-note on velocity” to that note upon Note Off which will put it back to it’s original color?

Hi, you need to store and maintain the value of the 64 buttons. Maybe this posting will help?
