Can Bome Network control OnSong on a iPad using a usb knob?

I have a 500 plus list of songs in my iPad which takes some time to scroll through. I have a spare usb knob and I been trying to use Bome Network to allow the knob to scroll the song list up and down, but so far I cant get it to work. Is there anyway to do this please?

Hi Alan,
If the OnSong app can learn MIDI for this function then yes, otherwise Bome Network does not pass mouse or keystroke actions, so I’m not entirely sure unless you have another application also running on your iPad that can convert incoming MIDI to the action that OnSong needs to scroll the list.

I also have Translater Pro which I have never used. Could that possible work?

Yeah, Bome MIDI Translator Pro does not run on an iPad. Again, if OnSong allows MIDI to scroll your songs, you should be good to go, however if it relies on finger (mouse) movements or keystrokes, you would need something on the iPad to convert MIDI to whatever OnSong accepts.
