the green power LED is steady, but the wifi LED keeps blinking. It’s plugged to a regular phone charger. It was working last time I checked like a couple of weeks ago. I cant find the bomebox in the bome network app. I cant find the bome network in pc or mobile wifi network
The only thing that comes to mind is I have a new wifi router, but I dont see how it could interfere
Obviously any intended behaviour from the bmtp file doesn’t work anymore.
I read something about factory reset, but it looks like I need to connect to it with wifi first…
When the WiFi LED blinks it usually means that it is waiting for a connection from the existing WiFi network. Are you trying to connect with BomeBox via WiFi? You will not see BomeBox on the network tool unless it is on the same Network.
By default, the BomeBox WiFi is configured as a hotspot so you need to connect to it from a wireless device using the BomeBox SSID which is that same as the BomeBox name (Default "BomeBox:). Then the default WiFi address is 192.168.153.1. If you are trying to connect through WiFI you need to first select the BomeBox SSID from your device then connect via the address above.
If connecting thru ethernet, by default the ethernet is a DHCP client and its address is set by your router.
If you are trying to connect via ethernet, then make sure both your device and BomeBox are connected to the router on the same network and then the network tool should find it.
I hope this helps!

Oh and you can use a thumb drive to do a network reset, password, reset or factory reset. You can refer to the BomeBox Instructions on how to do this.
Thank you so much. I think I was kind of rusty for not entering the bomebox settings for so long. Connecting it to the router with ethernet cable was indeed the way to go. All good now
