Actually I´m trying to enlarge my SuperiorDrummer3 with more articulations.
I want to expend my triggered articulation.
My Snare head has an own MidiNote and my Snare rim has also one.
Now I want to send a 3rd MidiNote to SuperiorDrummer if booth notes for head and rim are recognized at the same time (or perhaps with a micro delay; you will never hit both in the same ms)
How will I do this? (I know I’ll have to use variables and rules… but perhaps someone could send me a stepByStep guidance or some screenshot
I created something similar about 3 years ago and am including here.
It captures note-on messages and then evaluates the chord. Translator 1.4 does the evaluation. I set the delay to 5ms in the global variable “gb”. I’m using MIDI CH 1 because that is what my keyboard sends but you should be able to modify for MIDI CH 10 for drums and re-purpose the rules of translator 1.4 .
I have a rule in 1.4 that will send note-on note 25 velocity 127 if a two key C minor chord is recognized.
I use perform ‘Sendit’ to actually send the notes. I always send notes on MIDI CH 10 and that is controlled in the rules that use ‘Perform’. Translator 1.5 actually sends the notes.
Here is how my aliases are set up. You will need to set up for your actual devices.
This is pretty complex stuff so hopefully you can re-purpose the attached project file for your needs. If not, then I offer consulting services for a fee.
