I have 2 MK2 Novation Launchpads and trying to use translator as a changer CC or notes as long my 64 pads will respond differently than other MK2 is fine. I just want to have 128 pads instead of clones. Daslight4 sees the Bome and feedback is working but no matter how I change the presets in Bone I always get the clone instead of separate pad. How to fix it?
I’ve read other topics MK3 and Akai and nothing works only both devices works at the same time if I press first pad on first MK2 second MK2 flashing and it’s got he same message. Please help
Hi,
Please try the following. It has 4 translators.
The first 2 pass through Note On and Off on MIDI CH 1 from LP1 only.
The second 2 convert from Note On and Off MIDI CH 1 from LP2 to MIDI CH2 to Daslight.
I have no MIDI thru paths set and I suspect this might be causing the issue on your project.
I think the LP has a few buttons that are CC so you might want to set up additional translators for those buttons.
If you want LED feedback (If Daslight support is), You will need to do reverse translation with additional translators with input from Daslight and output to the respective Launchpad.
I set up aliases as follows
Input
LP1 -> Point this to your first Launchpad
LP2 - > Point this to your second Launchpad
Output
DasLight -> Point this to Bome MIDI Translator 1
2 LP-to-Daslight-2021-03-18.bmtp (2.1 KB)

it works perfectly. I’ve dragged and dropped your presets and change into channel 4 for LP2 because when I pressed something on LP1 the LP2 was flickering so channel 4.
Now I have 128 pads working fine but no led respond. Could you set up for me the led please like you’ve mentioned something about reverse translation.
I’ve checked few things and it looks MK2 gives a LED feedback only on channel 1. Channel 2 3 is pulsing effect and from channel 4-16 just no LED. Is there any way not using the channel but individual pad translation?
Hi, try thing
1 ) Set Daslight output toe BMT 1
2) Draw a line between BMT 1 and MK2 number 1 - This will handle LED’s on to that one
3) Write a translator to convert MIDI CH2 from BMT1 to MIDI CH 1 on MK2 number 2. Be sure to specify thin input and output ports in your tranlator. See this tutorial.

Hello marius,
would it be possible to send screen shots of your configuration or send me the file? I’m not too good at this software. I’m trying to do the exact same thing as you. I thank you in advance!
