Din Out port problems

Hi,

I have browsed the forum in the past to find answers to my problem and always found what I was looking for, but now I’m having an issue with one of my Bomebox and I can’t seem to figure out at what stage the problem is exactly.

Basically, the Din out port is not working, but the input is so I’m guessing it might be the physical port is damaged?

I do have the BomeBox DIN open in the Remote Direct Midi.

I have tested sending midi signal out, and in Midi Monitor, if I spy on output to destination, the signal is there showing what I’m sending correctly. But on my receiving interface, the signal led lights on and stays on for a while but nothing reads. I have tried with multiple cables and different receiving interface so the problem is really at the physical output? Or am I missing something?

Hi and welcome to the Bome community!

It is possible that you have a bad DIN out port although this is the first time we have seen this. Remember that MIDI OUT on BomeBox needs to go to the MIDI IN connector on your device or DIN to USB cable.

If they are not labeled that way just try the other connector as it won’t hurt anything.
