I already created an empty project with no presets and also unchecked “Use virtual MIDI ports”. Also no MIDI Ports are checked in the settings so how can I get rid of this error?
The most likely issue is that you have another application that has already opened that MIDI port. Microsoft Windows currently does not allow multiple applications or devices to access the same MIDI port. Please close down all other application and then try again. Then when you open your other applications, make sure any you uncheck any ports that may be “taking over” the port that you want to use within Bome MIDI Translator Pro.
You should be able to open an input port from an application that is an output port in Bome MIDI Translator Pro and visa versa, but they cannot both be opening the same output port or same input port.
