Hi,
It would be great to have a simple way to transform a fader to a different CC. It could look like this:
Incoming = MIDI Message - Fader - CC#17
Outgoing = MIDI Message - Fader - CC#18
Like Cubase’s MIDI Transformer where any incoming value gets converted to the same outgoing value but with a different CC.
In the meantime, is there a workaround for this?

Hi, this is a pretty basic thing so I’m not sure why it is a feature request unless I misunderstand.

Oh, okay. I tried that but I checked the wrong box. Little bit confusing. So the top box sets the value to a specific value defined by a variable?
It would be a little more user friendly to have my suggestion IMO.

I’m still unclear what your suggestion is. Could you illustrate how it would look?

Oh, I see, you just want to call it ‘Fader’ instead of ‘CC’.
Faders can be different kind of MIDI messages they are not always CC. For example:
- CC
- Pitch Bend
- NRPN
- Mackie MCU
- Notes (in the case of GrandMA2)
- MIDI Show control
So I think in this case CC is more descriptive, but I’ll pass your request along.
