BMTP projects can get quite messy. But tidying things up can get very tricky if Presets are activated/deactivated by number not name. The only way around this is to only use the name of Presets to activate/deactivate. But typing in full names of Presets or using the current list system is slow when setting things up. Especially if the list has hundreds of items.
A couple of ideas that would help speed things up when setting names for Presets that will be activated/deactivated would be:
-
A predictive search list for Preset names in the “Preset by name” field. So, type in the first few letters, and BMTP anticipates user intent and suggests relevant results in real-time.
-
A copy Preset name function. Where we can e.g. right click a Preset and select “Copy name” without it selecting the Preset. Currently copying the name of a Preset results in BMTP navigating away from the Preset containing the Translator we are currently editing. This slows things down considerably.
