Filtering out "fluttering" controller-values?

Hello, I have the problem that my Ortho Remote Controller often sends CC values that ‘wobble’ quickly by +1/-1 around a value, even if it is not touched. This creates a huge data stream.
Is there a way to filter this out?
I couldn’t find anything in my search, but surely it must be possible somehow with rules and conditions? Thank you very much !

Hi and welcome to the Bome community!

You might want to look at this thread. Although the controller may be different than yours, the problem seems to sound the same.

ah - thank you very much, that looks helpful!

yeah, it works. Took me a moment to customize and integrate everything properly, but after I understood everything, it now does exactly what it’s supposed to.
I still have a small question: What is this ‘Alt F1 Init’ for? Is it necessary to initialize something? But I don’t have to press any keys to activate the timer or anything ?
I didn’t quite understand that.
But otherwise everything is logical for me - actually simple, but you have to figure it out first  Thanks for your help!

The keystroke is just another way to set the project at a known (startup) state and may or may not be necessary. If you want you can change the incoming trigger to anything you want. I usually have a timer ‘Init’ trigger at project open and also a keystroke. Then other translators use timer ‘Init’ as a trigger and do various thinks like setting global variables and select preset, etc.
