I might have put the update in the wrong place but only realized after I did so. I put the update in the advanced settings, flash firmware and did the update. after that, the bomebox acted strangely. no ports, no devices,… so I did a factory default. after that, I could only have the bomebox with its standard name and password and I could not put a static IP. I mean I could but after that no more midiports etc. there was an errorpage when I tried to enter midi translator page that said something like this service was stopped and so on.
I went back to 1.5.4 but it still does not feel right completely. for example I cannot put my own midi routes. there are only the automatic routes but I cannot put one on my own.
I suppose putting the firmware update in the wrong place did more than what is good…
I want to ask, If you have a file, that can put the bomebox back to where it should be and then I can try the firmwareupdate from the right spot? Please.
It should work then. The issue is not the firmware, the issue is that your browser is caching the images so it doesn’t refresh showing the ports any more. This was also true with the older firmware since the issue is note with the firmware yet is with the browser settings. Once you clear the cache, it should work again and shouldn’t cause a problem as long as your browser cache remains in sync with the returned BomeBox data.
I updated to 1.6 again, cleared my browsers (different browsers) cache, went to private mode but it does not help.
I can not see any midi routes, I see that 2 network midi devices are online that i could connect to. when I click connect nothing happens. the devices themselves say that they are connected to the bomebox. bomebox still shows 0 connected devices. the only midiport that shows is bomebox din.
I also try to activate allen&heath network midi. when I click the tickbox the spinny thing spins endlessly and when I leave this page and come back A&H midi is disabled again.
