FR: Capture midi from all open ports as optional

Hi. Big fan of your work!

From the manual:

‘Note that Capture MIDI always displays incoming MIDI messages from all
currently opened MIDI devices, regardless of selected MIDI ports for the
translator.’

It would be super great if this was an option either in global settings or better, for the capture settings. When you have a complex studio and set of translators, you have to go around closing ports and turning things off to achieve a less hectic capture.

Hi, I think it is a good idea and will pass the feature request along. You do know that Bome MIDI Translator Pro will open and close ports based on what is selected, so if you organize your presets by ports, you should be able to disable a preset to disable the port it is assigned to. Mind you you still have to manually do this but it may be a little easier.

Thanks for considering it Steve. Yes you are right, though it is a convenience issue that scales. The more presets / ports you have, the more you have to disable, and the less relevant the global capture is until you do.

And a scroll lock on Capture would make a lot of sense IMO. Cubase spits out endless Poly Pressure messages which makes capturing tricky.
