How to Shut Down Bome MIDI Translator Pro on Windows

Hello Steve !

Hope everything are going well on your side !

A little question. My organ start hardware and all software automatically (Windows 11, BMT and Hauptwerk) from a push button. At close, I shut down the computer using a Hauptwerk command. But how to close BMT ? I can receive a Midi ON action from the Start/stop button but I don’t find in BMT a way to close the software and Windows is pending, waiting to stop BMT. Any idea ?

On Windows it is Alt-F4 while the MT Pro application is focused or you should be able to send the command line below:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bome MIDI Translator Pro\MIDITranslator.exe"  /close

Thanks a lot Steve, just to be sure you have understood what I expect : I would like to kill BMT app from BMT itself depending from a Note ON expected.

Maybe I need to first focus BMT and then produce a ALT-F4 Key stroke ? am I right ?

Yes or create an outgoing action with the command line I indicated.

Edit, the Alt-F4 action may not work if you have your setting to suppress incoming keystrokes on focus. You can change that if you would like. I think the command line option will be more reliable for you.
