How would you use a midi controller and run daw and BM simultaneously?

It doesn’t allow me to open them simultaneously, how would you do it?
I’m trying to change note on my Midi Fighter since it doesn’t allow me to change the default notes. In order to use the translation, BM is going to be on, and I am curious how I can use the controller and BM with daw simultaneously?
Sorry for the beginner question.

Sounds good, let me know. In a nutshell, you cannot share ports on Windows so you would use a different virtual port using Bome MIDI Translator Pro and then create a split in the MIDI router to expose separate ports to the application.
