My license of Bome Network covers 5 computers. If I purchase the Midi translator BN addon is that license good for use on those same 5 computers or does a license need to be purchased for each computer i want to run the addon on?

Like MIDI Translator Pro, you need to have a license for each computer you run Midi Translator BN that you are running concurrently.

it’s the first time that we have released a (sub-) product with recurring pricing. We’ve put a lot of thought into making the licensing scheme sensible for both users and for us. But we’re also very interested in hearing what users think, so thank you for your opinion.
Do you have a specific use case for running multiple instances of MIDI Translator BN? Maybe we neglected a typical use case where it would make sense to only pay once for multiple instances.

I am an amateur (bad) musician, old, retired who will never make even a cent from my music. I am probably not the audience you see being interested in or needing MT-BN.
I am interested in music and music technology, have a number of computers a home network, midi controllers, instruments and a daw etc. I don’t have a specific idea of why I would need to run this addon on multiple computers. But if I had a license, I would like to have it installed where Bome network is installed, at least for, for consistency and redundancy, if not for functionality.
As far as pricing and subscription licensing goes, the prices seem quite high compared to what I was expecting, compared to your other software and compared to what it adds on top of bome ntwork and Midi tranlator pro. I think it basically simplifies and removes a hop from the flow? If I’m wrong there, let me know.
The prices you have decided on multiply by being a recurring cost, until reaching the lifetime level, where it then costs comparable to a full daw suite such as ableton or bitwig, which only charge for new functionality/versions.
In an ideal world, what would I like? A fixed, one time, cost under $100 with the right to install it on up-to x computers as long as they are not translating concurrently.
