Map MT Pro to different MIDI Devices

hi steve,
i use midi translator to map my midi controller to a handful of different devices that respond to different maps ive made within midi translator. at the moment i have to open each isntance to control each different midi device. My question is, will bomebox allow me to select different preset maps ive made within midi translator or is bomebox fixed to one template at a time, with no way of switching to a different midi translator template ?
Any help would be great.

Hi and welcome to the Bome community!

There are a few ways you can handle this.

  1. Map different devices to different presets.
  2. Load different MT Pro project files

For solution one, you can turn different presets on and off with each preset handling different devices. For more information about device selection, see this tutorial.

For solution two, you can use the outgoing action of a translator to open a new .bmtp file simply by calling the .bmtp file by name. Each file would have it’s own mapping as set up in the project file itself.
