Microfreak Preset Translator Question

Hi. I’m curious if there might be a way to change presets on an Arturia Microfreak on the activation of a patch. For context, I have a series of presets in BMTP that all contain separate translators. This is working wonderfully. As extra icing on the cake, I was curious if there were any way now that when I move say, from Preset 1 to Preset 2, the activation of one would also switch to a new preset on the Microfreak?

I hope I said that well enough.

It’s not totally necessary, it would just open doors to more possibilities.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, set up a translator withing each of your Bome Presets with the following.

Translator : Change MicroFreak Preset
Incoming: On Preset Activation

Rules:
None

Outgoing: Bank Change Bank Number (0 or 1), Program 0-127
Options: Swallow

Set the Bank Number to 0 for Factory presets and 1 for User Presets

For example the first user preset is 128 and the last is 255, so for program 128 you would set bank 1 program change 0.

I’m not 100% sure whether MicroFreak starts numbering at 0 or 1. The above is used if numbering starts at 0. If it starts at 1 it would be bank 1 or 2 instead of 0 or 1 and PC might also be offset. Most MIDI starts number at 1 so PC 0 is actual Program Change 1.
