Midi Translator performing extra calculations since windows update

This just started with the last windows update. I have translators set to operate a Powerpoint presention via program change. For example, an incoming program change on channel 11 of 23 would perform a calculation of 127 + 23 = 150, set pp=150 and output that number to select slide 150. Been working fine for years. As of this Windows 11 update, the translator performs the calculation correctly, but then receives another program change that sets pp=0. I cannot find where this extra program change is coming from. I found this by watching the midi log. Is this some kind of loop caused by windows? Help!!

Hi,

I think I would need to look at your project file.

Thanks for answering, Steve. What kind of info do you need? And how much do you charge?

Just post your project file so that I can take a look at it and figure out what is happening. My guess is that you have either two translators processing the same incoming trigger or that you are reading input from both the alias and it’s underlying physical port.
