MIDI Translator Pro: I need help making a project...

Hello there. This software is very powerful, and there are many ins and outs which would require me to learn a whole bunch, and I don't have the time. Artistic expression is precious, and I don't want to waste it on learning software which I will implement only once.

I need to create a project in MIDI Translator Pro which will use 2 controllers. One, my Linnstrument. And 2, my launch control. I want to use my launch control buttons to switch between 8 active MIDI ports connecting my Linnstrument to my DAW. This will allow me to switch between VST's in my DAW without hitting my DSP, but I need all of my Linnstruments MPE functions to be preserved.

Can someone help me out? Gosh dang I'm frustrated, and I just need something to solve my issue so I can start jamming with my looper! I can even pay.

Thank you for your time.

I'd like to take the above post back. I had a long week, a few drinks, and my head hurt a bit. I was watching the instructional video's on how to use this software(Which are excellent by the way) and I was scratching my head, wishing I didn't have to do work. But I think I should be able to figure out how to make the project I need today. I was being a twerp.

Thank you!

Hi,

We are here to coach you for free for specific requests as you need us.  If you want me to set up the whole project, however that would be paid services and you can send me mail for an estimate.

So your desicion is as you say pretty much time (if you do it) or money (if I do it).  Note, that there is still some time involved on your point in either case since you are the only one that knows your requirements and since we do not have your hardware, it would require some testing time on your part.

Yes there is a weath of tutorial videos and we try to cover the most common use cases. Most are under 5 minutes.  If you view one and still do not understand, let us know and we can help.

Thank you Steve. I think it might be in my best interest to figure it out myself, especially since my setup needs change periodically. There are some basics I still have to wrap my head around, though. This is good for me. It builds character!

Thanks again!
