MOTU Express with BomeBox

Next step further…
Using the Bomebox with the mioXM works well. Now my idea is to add a motu midi express 128 (up to 8 Midi DIN IN/OUT) to an hostport of the XM. But this configuration breaks my mind, as I do not now how this Ports can be addressed in the bomeBox.
Perhaps this is also to much for the BomeBox to handle this? Any help/idea is highly appreciated !
The background is to add additional DIN Midi for my several Midi Din Hardware.

I’m pretty sure the MOTU Express is not USB class compiant, so the only way to connect it would be through Windows or Mac that has the MOTU USB drivers loaded. BomeBox requires a USB class compliant device for any USB connections.

Is there any known 8x8 midi devices that are class complaint and would work with BomeBox?

I don’t know one personally, however if the vendor either advertises USB MIDI Class compliant, or no drivers needed then you should be pretty safe. By from a reputable firm that you can return it if it doesn’t work out.
