MT Pro 1.9.1 on macOS: crash when moving to secondary monitor

A user reported this bug when using MT Pro 1.9.1 build 1057 on MacOS Monterey on a Mac Studio M1.

I believe one of my crashes happened when switching monitors, and I’m on Intel + Big Sur… Would this cause the same corrupted settings file situation that prevents BMT from starting again?

@jsulva this is unlikely: the other problem you’re experiencing is related to starting up MT Pro with loading a project file which uses Text keystroke actions. Starting up MT Pro without a project should not expose the problem you’re seeing.

We have created a public beta version which should fix the crash with multi-monitor usage:
Bome MIDI Translator Pro 1.9.1 beta build 1059 – expired November 25, 2023

This fix required an update of the entire underlying Java library used for the user interface. Although we have found it to be stable, there might be unexpected side effects.

A nice side effect is that this version allows us to make MT Pro a universal application (Intel 64-bit and native Apple Silicon).

Thanks everyone for trying… and please report your experiences here.
