Hey Steve,
Absolutely loving this software so far–it’s a literal godsend for what I’m working on currently. I’m using my 88-key Yamaha P-71 Digital Keyboard to emulate keystrokes on my computer, and so far everything is working great! My only problem is that I’ve been setting up translators manually one by one for each piano key, and it’s being quite the tedious process (Two up and down outputs for each of the 88 keys = 176 translators? AHHH). I was wondering if there’s an easier way to automate or create multiple translators at once instead of brute-forcing each MIDI input one by one.
For instance, let’s say that I’m trying to bind the piano keys D1, F#2, A3, and C4 to the A key on my keyboard. Is there a way I can make all those translators in one go instead of having to make all eight separately for the same outgoing key?
I’ll be doing it the old-fashioned way for now until I learn a smarter way–not that I mind, since it’s still working PERFECTLY compared to all the other keyboard emulators out there. Cheers!
