Need to send "F0 BD 07 pp F7"

I need to send ‘F0 BD 07 pp F7’ to my Yamaha PSR-SX700.
But Bome don’t accept ‘BD’
Can something be done to send this Sysex?
Best regards

Hi, characters higher than value 0x7F are not allowed in System Exclusive message. Where did you get information on this SysEX message that makes you believe it is something that this device would recognize?

Typically Yamaha devices will recognize SysEX that starts with F0 43 .

This document on the Yamaha web site might help you achieve the correct SysEX message to send.

Hi Steve

When I turn up and down the Volume of the individual Style channels, I receive these SysEx messages on the PC. I can also adjust the Volume with the same SysEx code from PC to Keyboard when I use the Pocket MIDI program.
I believe that all ‘Bx’ codes refer to a midi channel that Yamaha recognizes and translates when it receives these. The last value before F7 is the volume strength.
I actually see many of these special SysEx codes from many different functions when I dump to PC.

As I said, these are invalid SysEX messages. Try removing the F0 from the front and the F7 from the rear and they will then be standard CC messages which is likely what you need.
