Hi and welcome to the Bome community!
I see from your other post, you are using an X-touch One.
You need to have it set to MIDI Mode Relative.
Then you need to assign your alias “My-Xtouch1”.
This is one using the MIDI Menu and the clicking “Edit Project Port Aliases”.
Since I’m running my X-Touch One from a remote computer from my Gaming PC “Steve-Gaming” using Bome Network Pro, My aliases on my Windows computer is “Steve-Gaming: X-Touch One”.
The attached updated project file is already set up for Davinci Resolve on a Windows PC. If you are running on a Mac, you will need to change the outgoing message of translator 5.2 (Preset 5 translator 2) to the executable on your Mac. On my Windows PC it is “Resolve.exe”.
When your project sees your X-Touch One, it should already select preset 4 (Controller-Xtouch One). If it doesn’t for some reason you will need to manually select it.
Here is the latest project file.

Wow, Steve, I just stumbled onto this thread – I have an X-Touch One myself. Bome MTP, where have you been all my life? I am loving it!
This project has been evolving over the years as I have been testing various video editors and using them with different MIDI controllers. I haven’t found any video editors that support MIDI (except Davinci Resolve Fairlight), so wanted to have a way to use hotkeys instead. The X-touch One and DJ2GO2 have settled in as my controller of choice. I usually use the DJ2GO2 since it doesn’t need a separate power connection and has two platters that I can use a jog wheels.
I’m glad you are enjoying it!

Yes, the dearth of good (and affordable) video editing hardware, not to mention ‘one-size-fits-all’ DAW controllers (ugh), is what drove me to start looking for ‘roll yer own’ tools. Glad I found Bome and SteveC. With the tech support and examples you provide, if you can’t master Bome MTP, you’re not really trying… Thanks again!
still not getting results
Show me the log window for one of your controls
Make sure MIDI IN , Incoming, MIDI OUT and Outgoing are checked.
Then show me how you have your aliases set up. Especially the alias for “My-XtouchOne”. Go to the MIDI Menu and then Edit Project Port Alias and you will get a popup.
You should see something like this.
Show me how the alias is set for My-XtouchOne.
In the left section, take a snapshot of the preset select. It should look like this:
Click on the file name in the left and then look in the right area to make sure My-X-touchOne shows open. Mine is not as I don’t have my controller connected.
Look at translator 10.2 output action and make sure the proper application is selected for focus.
Show me screen shots of everything that I have shared.
