Opening relative paths using Bome MIDI Translator Pro

Hi Steve,
did something change? Is it now possible to open Ableton Projects withou the need of an absolute path?
I have a folder Live in it are 100 Ableton Projects. In the bome file there is:
Outgoing152=ExF10034Live AUX/Aint nobody - 24 Project/Aint nobody 24.als0000

Is it possible to add the bome file to the folder Live Aux and bome automaticly opens the files in this folder?
because i have another bmtp file with:
Outgoing152=ExF10034Live/Aint nobody - 24 Project/Aint nobody 24.als0000

If i change something i have to do it in 3 BMTP Files.
If bome will just open the files out of the folder it is in, i just have to change 1 file and copy it to 3 Folders.

Possible?
Andreas

As far as I know, nothing has changed regarding relative path names in Bome MIDI Translator Pro. Maybe the operating system is remembering the full path name based on opening the first file and just using the same path. You might need to experiment with this theory a bit.

  1. Open first file with absolute path
  2. Open another file with a relative path and see if it works.

If this works, then perhaps you would only need to change the path of the first file and assume subsequent files will use the same path. However it really would depend on the operating system behavior. For instance if you opened another file in a different path with another program, the operating system might end up changing the default path on you unintentionaly.
