Greetings!
I saw a post on the gig performer forum mentioning that MTP can be used to send program change messages from a numeric keypad. How would I go about setting this up?
Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the Bome community!
This can be done, however the original numeric keypad keystrokes would note be blocked.
You would likely need to have to focus on anther application when pressing the keys so that it doesn’t interrupt what is happening on other applications within the computer.
For me, I opt to use unused function keys to increment or decrement the program change messages as they do not interfere with anything. I’ve attached an example. In my case, I have a separate Macro keyboard that has F13-F24.
Key-to-PC-inc-dec.bmtp (1.1 KB)
The attached, however should do what you want for up to 10 PC’s
I’ve added Focus and Backspace translators so that I can first focus on notepad.exe and then send a backspace 20ms later. Of course your numpad keys will no longer work with anything else and you need to have notepad.exe open.
Switching Patches with numpad.bmtp (3.3 KB)
