My controller is recognised, MIDI messages are received and I am allowed to train it with the key commands.
I have followed precise steps on all the tutorials I can find several times.
It doesn’t work in any app let alone in Davinci, not even notedpad with the CtrlZ replacement from the tutorial. It all works great and as it should until I try to use it on an app.
Normally when something like this happens there’s usually one stupid big thing I am not doing so it could be that.
Any ideas?
Also does it matter what sequence I open the apps with?
I am using a Mac Mini M1 running Sonoma 14.5

Could you share your current Bome MIDI Translator Pro Project file and explain what you want it to do?
Usually if you are sending outgoing keystrokes, you first must focus the the target application. For outgoing mouse clicks, you must first move the mouse to the correct location on the screen. Both of these have specific outgoing actions you can set up.
