Roland sh-4d driver

Hi, I recently bought a Roland SH-4D to use as midi controller for the Octatrack; I’ve notice the hardware is not midi class compliant , it needs driver.
In my MB with bome pro it’s visible, in bomebox no…Is there any trick\hack to bypass the drivers problem?
Thanks

Hi,

You will need to use the MIDI DIN port instead of USB or attach the device to a computer that has the Roland driver and then use network MIDI.

Thanks Steve.

You could also get a MIDI DIN to USB interface and plug it into the host USB port on the BomeBox. I have a 4 port MIDI DIN to USB interface so I can connect 4 devices up using this. There are also less expensive options on Amazon. Just make sure whatever you buy is class compliant.
