Scroll wheel/Specify keyboard input

Hi, is it possible to limit input to a specific keyboard/mouse? I have a macro pad that has 12 buttons + dial (scroll wheel) that I want to send MIDI with. Two questions:

  1. Is it possible to map the scroll wheel?
  2. I only want the macro pad dial to be translated to MIDI, not my actual mouse. Is it possible to limit input to only the macro pad?

If your macro pad sends scroll wheel commands, it should work exactly the same as your mouse scroll wheel. If it sends MIDI, then we can use Bome MIDI Translator Pro to convert to outgoing scroll wheel actions.

No, from a OS driver perspective, there is no delineation between a given mouse or keyboard source. For keyboard, if your macro pad can be programmed for keys not on your normal keyboard, that should work. For instance F13-F24 is not on many keyboards along with combinations using alt or control (command).
