I’ve been a happy user of Bome MTP for a long time
Currently I use Stage Traxx 3 as a backing tracks player, this is an iPad
I have an XR18 Digital mixer,
Unfortunately parameters such as delay times and reverb decay times use OSC
I’ve made translations for all my Bpm’s
These are PC which are sent from STAGE TRAXX 3,
This midi is sent via virtual ports to BOME Network
It’s then translated to OSC on my Mac via Midi Translator Pro
It was then connected to the XAIR via USB
Every works perfect
However I have a Widi Master, I’d like the translation to go to the Widi Master so I can eliminate the USB cable
Seems like a simple thing but I haven’t been able to route this
I’m not sure I understand. MT Pro does not handle OSC. How are you translating OSC with MT Pro? Maybe you are converting the OSC string to MIDI SysEX messages?
OSC is a network protocol so you might want to try something like OSCulator to do the MIDI to OSC translation on your Mac and then use the WiFi of the XR-18 to receive the OSC messages.
I’m not sure why you would want to use Widi Master at all in this situation as you would need to have a MIDI to USB interface on your Mac with a Widi Master and another WidiMaster attached to your XR-18 on the MIDI ports.

I’m using and converting simple PC to Raw Midi / Hex
These are translated with MTP
for example a preset of a tempo of 120bpm
Has a 1/4 delay of 500ms
The first string is delay on Fx Slot 1 - parameter 2 which is ms
The second is fx slot 2 parameter 1 which is pre delay
The third is parameter 2 decay time
I’ve made presets for tempos ranging from 50bpm to 220bpm
I’ve sorted the issue, Widi master does not appear to transmit raw/sysex
I’ve tried a Yamaha MdBt 01 and works perfectly
My set up is elaborate, what it enables be to do is drag a preset into my backing track and reverb times, pre delay and delay fx are perfectly timed and in sync
Takes about 10sec to drag and drop
The reason for not using USB is to be able to use the USB port on the mixer from the iPad as an audio input play files directly to the mixer for Multitrack purpose…. Drums on 1, bass on 2, keys, 3, bvs on 4 etc
