Sync Ethernet to MIDI ?

Hello,

Would ask a question about this product Bome MIDI Translator Pro.

I’m a Deejay and I would like to sync my dj setup to my hardware machine.
I use this setup " 2 X CDJ 2000 NEXUS + DJM 900 NEXUS " and they have the PRO DJ LINK connection with an “Ethernet plug”.
I have also a drum machine which need MIDI IN for the clock sync.

I’m wondering if thebox can send the clock through the MIDI OUT port if i plug my CDJ (Ethernet) on it ??

Thanks.

I'm afraid not. Pioneer has their own proprietary ethernet protocol. Although they would be able to talk to eachother, using standard network routing stack, they would not be able to send MIDI to any non-Pioneer device. You would need something to convert pioneer network to MIDI DIN or USB class compliant.

Greetings.

If one of the Pioneer devices, can forward MIDI messages from their proprietary network to MIDI DIN or USB, then we use that connection for further processing, that would work.

Finally i've got some news from Pioneer.

They have a software which can do that "PRODJLINK"

You connect all your stuff on a switch and through an ETHERNET PORT on the computer.

And you can send a midi clock through usb port...

Nice!
