Syncing videos with drum machine

Hi
I am currently using the demo version of Bome. I need some advice please.

I want to sync up mp4 videos that I have made for a live music show on projector or screen.
I want to have my windows laptop as the master.
My plan is to have the videos in Show Cue Systems software, then trigger my drum machine using Bome and the Roland UM-One MK2.

I’ve been trying to do this using Bome but cannot achieve my gaol. How can I set Bome to receive midi sync play from Show Cue Systems and trigger the drum machine?
I couldn’t find a vid on YouTube.
thanks

Hi and welcome to the Bome community!

In your Show Cue system, define the MIDI output port as a Bome Virtual Port.

Depending on how you have Bome MIDI Translator Pro set up for MIDI port options, it will either show up as ‘BMT 1’ (for short name) or ‘Bome MIDI Translator 1 Virtual’ (for long name). Then in Bome MIDI Translator set the same port up for input. Then you can monitor for the MIDI message that Show Cue sends. Use the specific input message you want to trigger as a translator and then set up your desired output of the same translator to go to your drum machine. The output port in Bome MIDI Translator Pro should be set up as the input port to your drum machine.

Show Cue Output → BMT 1 → Bome MIDI Translator Pro (translator) → Drum Machine.
