Temporarily turn off translators?

Is there a way to temporarily turn off all translators and presets while still have the router function working?

Yes, there is an outgoing action of ‘Project " type called ‘Disable Processing’. MIDI message will still go through the MIDI thru routes but all translators are disabled except for if a translator has an outgoing action or Project’ type called ‘Enable Processing’

Note that if ‘Swallow’ is set on any translators, they will still be swallowed and those messages (whether the processing is enabled or disabled) will not go through the MIDI thru routes.

Again, the only ways to re-enable processing after it is disabled is to hit the Go button with your mouse or with a translator with an outgoing action of "Enable Processing.

Can I press the STOP panic button to accomplish this? And still, have the router pass-thru working? Or as you suggest above add an outgoing action to a translator with Disable Processing? And in that case, do I need to run a translator setup this way to have to have stop processing actuated?

Thanks again for your help.

Randy

No the Stop button will also disable the MIDI router.
