Toggle buttons working but only in a row beginning from left?

Hi, i´m a beginner. I make a toggle Button with Light for my Launchpad S. It´s working but i have the problem when i make a new Translator the second button works too , but when i press both Buttons behind each other beginning from left side 1,2 and press the buttons again back in the row from right side 2,1 then the buttons don´t off ? I hope you understand my problem and someone can help me?

Hi @bemusic and welcome to the Bome Forum!

The most simple way to do this is to use a different global variable for each button. See the user manual (press F1) to read about global variable naming conventions.

I’ve includes an example for the first two buttons. You can change the colors by changing the output velocity (qq) of the note messages.

I tested with a Launchpad MINI which has the same programming as the Launchpad S and set the aliases as follows.

You will be prompted to set the aliases when the project opens. After that, you can always change alias assignment via the MIDI Menu.
