Translators not populating log window

I just copied my working Presets to a new computer. Cannot figure out why my translators are not showing in live (midi light flashing). I am using a Behringer BCF2000 I am able to assign Midi to live using BMT 1 but not Bome translators. the Midi In and router out Lights both light up but no translators get through. Thanks

Hi,

Could you open the Log window (not the event monitor window) and check the following boxes.

  • MIDI IN
  • Incoming
  • MIDI OUT
  • Outgoing

Then move something on your controller so that we can view the actually MIDI activity and post either the text (by copy and paste) or take a snapshot and post it.

OK, so if you see MIDI IN and not Incoming, it means the trigger for your translator is incorrect.
If you see MIDI OUT but no Outgoing then you are not using a translator so it must be going through the router’s MIDI thru path.

In your example, you are seeing both MIDI IN and MIDI out so MIDI is getting through but your are not using a translators.
