Trouble with Knob to Key

Knob to key.bmtp (1.1 KB)
I used this preset to map 2 different keyboard shortcuts for when the knob turns left and when it turns right. It works just fine. The issue is that when the knob reaches 00 or 127, it stops outputing the keystrokes. In the log, I can see that when it the knob hits 00, it continues to spit out 00 instead of stopping and likewise for 7f. Is there a way to make it so that it’ll infinitely output the keystrokes?

Hi and welcome to the Bome community!

You don’t want to reset the value of ga until both translators have tested it so I remove that from the first translator.

I then added a rule to the clockwise translator so that it is a value of 127 it always executed.
I did the same to counter-clockwise for a value of 0

For debugging without keystrokes you can set the variable zz to 1 in the first translator, then actual keystrokes will be suppressed and instead you will see messages in the log window. I use this technique often so that my keystrokes don’t make my computer go wild if I get the rules wrong.
