Hello I purchased a customer returned Bome Box from Thomann, and when it arrived the rubber feet on the base had all fallen off. I updated the firmware and have reset it to factory settings with the USB drive but it will not connect via WiFi to my iPhone or Mac. The BomeBox network is showing, but on the phone the “connecting” wheel spins endlessly , on the Mac I can connect to the BomeBox network, but all browsers state they cannot connect to the 192.168.153.1 web address. Connecting to the BomeBox over Ethernet from the Mac gives exactly the same result with a browser. Using the Bome Network App on the Mac over an ethernet connection to connect to the BomeBox leads to a “waiting (for remote acceptance) message? I am beginning to suspect the box has been tampered with or is faulty ? Thanks for any pointers re; what else to try ? Steve
Hi and welcome to the Bome community!
Usually a network or factory reset should work. If you did a factory reset. Try also to do a network reset and see if things clear up.
If not, go to the network settings and then Wifi page on the BomeBox (via ethernet connection with Mac) and see you have it connected for a HotSpot. If not, change it to Hotspot and it should connect.
For missing rubber feet, check with Thomann.
