Unlimited Named Ports

Greetings,

I have moved to Mac. I am currently using Sequoia 15.7.4. I posted earlier about using additional ports and you suggested that Named Ports might be the better idea.

That works. How do I go about installing Unlimited Named Ports on the Mac. The last update seems to have been updated in 09/23. Will there be any issue running this on a Mac with Sequoia?

Thanks for everything you do,

Graham

Hi,

You can purchase Unlimited Named MIDI Ports here.

It is an add-on to Bome Network. You don’t need Bome Network Pro unless you need to send MIDI between computers. You can download Bome Network here.

Once Bome Network is installed, open it and with the gear ICON, you can enter your license name and key.

Once purchased you use the Bome Network tool to add ports and then routes.

Routes are needed because when you create the ports, they are only endpoints.

This post, describes the types of routes and provides some examples.
