Hello, I am attempting to use a USB volume knob in order to control an output VCA fader in Pro Tools. I have tried creating a new keystroke trigger, but MTP will not recognize it. Instead, the Mac (Monterey 12.7.4) sees the action and adjusts the system output accordingly. Is there a way to route the USB instruction differently so it can be recognized in MTP? Thanks,
If you check for a keyboard input trigger while focusing MT Pro and you don’t see any keystroke, then I’m afraid you will be out of luck. Otherwise, you should be able to convert it to MIDI, however the original incoming keystroke will still not be suppressed.
